1. Channing Tatum

Channing Tatum’s just became a dad! Wife Jenna Dewan Tatum gave birth to Baby Girl Tatum (Ed note: her name was not made public before publication) in London.  The singer turned actor has a movie coming out this summer, White House Down and two in pre-production. We think he’s going to be a cool, patient dad as he’s conquered Dyslexia and ADD.

2. Ben Affleck

Until 2012 when Samuel Garner Affleck was born, Ben Affleck was surrounded women at home!  Hubby to Jen Garner and proud dad of Violet and Seraphina, the Academy Award winner (Good Will Hunting, Argo) is also a philanthropist. Ben’s been a supporter of the A-T Children’s Project since 1999. In 2010, he helped form the Eastern Congo Initiative, an NGO that works for and with the people of the Congo.

3. Will Smith

This hawt Hollywood dad has a blockbuster movie every single summer! This year, it’s After Earth–He costars with his son, Jaden.  Both of Will Smith’s kids;  Jaden and Willow inherited his musical chops and acting ability. Can you imagine what it’s like at their house when they do a sing-along? We wanna  join in on the fun!

4. Jorge Posada

Yankee Jorge Posada spent 17 years with the team. During that time, he won the AL Silver Slugger Award a record five times. Jorge’s also a 3-time author.  Play Ball (2006) is a children’s book.  With his wife, Laura, he co-wrote Fit Home Team, about how a family can get fit and stay fit together. His autobiography, The Beauty of Love: A Memoir of Miracles, Hope, and Healing (2010) chronicles their son’s health condition. Jorge’s foundation, The Jorge Posada Foundation lends support to families whose children who also have his son’s disease: Craniosynotosis and funds research for a cure.

5. Hugh Jackman

He may be Wolverine forever, but to his children, he’s just “dad.” As Hugh told Good Housekeeping, “We’re never apart more than two weeks. I’ve had to turn down a few things [in my career], but I put my family first.”

6. Barack Obama

Another dad who puts his family first, is POTUS AKA Barack Obama, the 44^th President of the United States. He and Michelle, the First Lady take turns taking their daughters to school and make sure that everyone, no matter what may happen during the day, is at the dinner table, together.

7.  Robert Downey Jr

RDJ  is an incredibly swoon worthy Hollywood dad. Robert Downey Jr’s career is hotter now than when he first became a movie star. He credits his second wife, Susan, for getting him and keeping him on track. They recently celebrated the first birthday of their first child, Exton Elias Downey (Robert has an older child, Falconer Downey, from his first marriage). In an interview with Esquire shortly before the birth of Exton, in response to being a hero, he stated, “Do I want to be a hero to my son? No. I would like to be a very real human being. That’s hard enough.”

8. Javier Bardem

Javier Bardem is one of those celebs who likes to keep his private life kept private. So when his wife, Penelope Cruz got pregnant, they didn’t tell anyone! Now the couple is expecting their second child and we think that the kids will be kept far away from the limelight so they can grow up like any other kid on their block.

9. David Beckham

While we may swoon over David’s abs, legs and butt…We also like his parenting style. As he told the UK Mirror,  “The biggest thing is my family. We don’t like moving around, we don’t like unsettling the kids. When you have kids you do grow up…But when you have kids they become your main priority… making sure they are OK, making sure they are healthy, happy.”

10. Mark Wahlberg

If you want to talk about another set of abs we adore, look no further than Mark Wahlberg. Calvin Klein underwear ads anyone? The Ted star has four kids: Ella Rose, Michael Robert, Brendan Joseph and Grace Margaret. He’s actively involved with The Good Shepherd Center for Homeless Women and Children.  Like the other ab-tastic star David Beckham, Mark is proud to be a hands-on dad. “If I succeed as a businessman but fail as a father, then it’s all been for nothing,” Wahlberg said on The Today Show. “That’s by far the most important role that I’ll ever play in my life — being a parent and being a husband.”
